This policy explains what information the PDS app and website collect, why, and your choices. PDS is a delivery, shopping and logistics company based in Marsh Harbour, Abaco, The Bahamas.

Who uses the app

The app is used by PDS staff and drivers to run deliveries, and by customers and client teams (for example hotel and club reservations departments) to request shopping, collections and deliveries and to follow their orders.

Information we collect

• Contact details: name, phone number, email address.
• Order details: shopping lists, delivery addresses and instructions, preferred delivery times, payment status and invoices.
• Photos: photos you take or upload in the app, such as receipts, proof of delivery, vehicle checks and delivery locations.
• Location: if you allow it, the phone's location when you tap a button such as "I am at the site", so we can save a delivery pin and give directions. We do not track you in the background.
• Staff information: for PDS employees, work details such as schedules, time records and expense claims.
• Technical information: basic device and usage information needed to keep the app working and secure.

How we use it

To fulfil and track your orders, schedule drivers and shoppers, contact you about your order, issue invoices and receipts, keep our records, keep the service secure, and improve it. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only with people and services needed to deliver the service: PDS staff and drivers assigned to your order; ferry operators and delivery partners where needed to complete a delivery; and service providers who host our systems and send messages or payment links on our behalf. We may disclose information when the law requires it.

Where it is stored and how long

Information is stored on secure cloud services used by PDS. We keep order and accounting records for as long as needed to run the business and meet legal and tax requirements, then delete or anonymise them.

Your choices

• You can refuse camera or location permission in your phone settings. Some features (like saving a delivery pin or photographing a receipt) will not work without them.
• You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
